We are currently seeking an experienced site based working foreperson from a tradesperson background to join our team to work on new build and refurbishment projects mainly on a design and build basis.  This appointment gives the successful candidate the opportunity to grow within our expanding business.

This important role will require you to be the site based working foreperson on our smaller projects. You will be the single point of contact on site for our customer and will be supported from our head office by a visiting quantity surveyor. This role will include but not be limited to accurate record keeping, the management of Labour, sub-contractors and suppliers, short term programming of the project, quality control, health and safety of the site and keeping our customer well informed of progress.

It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and it is an advantage to hold a CSCS card, SSSTS, Scaffold Inspection certificate and have First Aid training.

Our business is based around trust and it is therefore essential that the successful candidate has a strong attention to detail, good time management and excellent problem solving skills. Experience of working for a main contractor is also desirable.

Salary will be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience. The benefits package will include a company vehicle or allowance and personal pension contributions.

We are currently seeing an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our busy and growing construction business to manage new build and refurbishment projects. The appointment will give the successful candidate the opportunity to grow within this expanding business. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good time management and excellent problem-solving skills. 
Experience in a previous quantity surveyor role is essential and experience of working for a main contractor is desirable. 

The role will include analysis of tender documentation to identify risk and opportunity, measurement and preparation of bills of quantities, managing subcontract and material enquiries, formulation of budgets, financial management of the construction project including CVR preparation, valuations, variations etc, preparation of final account agreements, coordination of the projects with the Project Manager and being able to present to our customers in a friendly manner. 

High levels of literacy and numeracy are essential and also have a high level of computer literacy and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of using Microsoft Project is also desirable.  The successful candidate should also have a good knowledge and recent experience of using JCT contracts.

Full driving license is essential.

This important role will include the analysis of tender documentation to identify risk and opportunity, measurement, preparation of bills of quantity, sub-contract and materials enquiries, the drafting of the tender submission documents, the formulation of budgets and being able to present to our customers in a friendly manner. 

Our business is based around trust and therefore it is essential that the successful candidate has a strong attention to detail, good time management and excellent problem solving skills. Experience of working for a main contractor is desirable along with an industry recognised qualification. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word are essential.
