The new facility will provide a 7,300 sq m of manufacturing premises on a rural site following extensive enabling works which have now been carried out.

We have stabilised the 6.1m deep made-up footprint of the building by utilising a “Vibro Stone Column” system.

The new steel framed building will be externally clad and roofed with a profiled steel product and it will incorporate specific installations such as “Food Safe” wall coverings and resin flooring, stainless steel gullies, solar panels and electric vehicle charging points. The Mechanical and Electrical installations are being carried out by the client’s nominated specialist contractor but as part of our contract.

The enhanced external works will include an attenuation pond, major gabion retaining walls, perimeter footpath, car park, extensive tree planting and highways adaption works to the entrance.

Great consideration is being given to the project’s rural setting and, due to the client’s trading ambitions, we have formulated a very fast track but obtainable programme for the project.
