The project called for the major reconfiguring and refurbishment of Opals’ headquarters and warehouse in a commercial area of Peterborough whilst the client continued its day to day operations.

Our bid was successful and upon completion of the project the existing warehouse section of the building had been split into two with full height partitioning forming a new materials collection point for the company’s technicians.

A new unit was formed creating a new training centre together with a “Just in Time” stock facility. We constructed three new training rooms, on an existing mezzanine floor, all to match existing offices. The existing reception area, atrium and first floor offices were stripped out, reconfigured and fitted out.

Existing office car parking for the offices had been enlarged and reconfigured.

We continued to work safely and successfully throughout the Covid 19 crisis by creating and rigorously observing H&S guidelines and instigating strict restrictions throughout our works areas and beyond.
