The works involved completely stripping out the existing two storey building, installing new DPCs, reconfiguring internal layout and creating the new flats and a communal lobby area.

Also included was the installation of new steel work, roof repairs, new heritage design windows, new aluminium front doors and refurbishing of the staircase.

Although the site is beside a roundabout on a junction of two main roads the existing car park was sufficient to provide storage for enough materials and plant which assisted us in achieving the tight programme – despite delays caused by the utilities companies.
