Probus were tasked with the refurbishment and replacement of the existing customer toilet block and welfare facilities at Ferry Meadows Café in the prestigious Nene Park of Peterborough after being awarded this project through competitive tender. 

A well designed and specified project, presented by Butcher Bayley Architects, the refurbished facilities boast six new WC rooms, comprising three standard unisex WC’s, two disabled access WC’s and one Parent room with baby changing facilities.

All WC rooms incorporate new toilet and handwash facilities, built in to clean and modern IPS units. The entrance and lobby were also upgraded with modern finishes, including park-inspired decals and automated access doors. Safety was a large factor in this project as the adjoining Café remained operational throughout the project.
